Technical information on Holmen Dog Hotel
The hotel has four units with five rooms each. The rooms measure 2.5 x 1.2 metres, with a ventilation grille from each room to the outside runs, which have poured-concrete floors and measure 6 by 3 metres. In addition we have an exercise yard with grass, flowers and gravel (snow), about 500m². The hotel has its own kitchen and a facility where the dog can be bathed if needed. We also have a reception with two smaller rooms for small dogs. We also have one larger room for big dogs like "great dane" and "saint bernards".
Routines at the Dog Hotel
The dogs are fed once or twice a day, as the owner wishes and according to how much food the dog needs. We use Royal Canin food, as used by many dog-drivers in Norway, and with which we have good experience. All the dogs have access to water throughout the day. The dogs are aired regularly through the day, and when the temperature allows they can go in and out as they wish. Dogs that are boarded longer than a week are taken for regular walks. Dogs sleep on a special bed, or a carpet supplied by the owner.

Opening hours at the Dog Hotel
We are open every day throughout the year, from 09.00 to 11.00 and from 17.00 to 19.00, or by special agreement. We try to give the dogs regular routines, with as much peace and quiet as possible, and for this reason it is important to have fixed times for delivery and collection of dogs.
Prices for 2008 - 2009
The prices are calculated from the day of delivery to the day of collection inclusive, and include value added tax.
Care of dog per day:
One dog: kr 175,-
Two dogs from same owner: kr 300,-
Bitch in heat: kr 275,-
Several dogs from same owner, price by agreement
Surcharge for collecting dog after 23.00: kr 175,-

One way: kr 300,-
Return: kr 500,-
Bathing of dog: kr 200,-
